The SVDP-Fort Worth Conferences will strive to do its best to accomplish the following Christian virtues through the generosity of people who contribute in a variety of ways.
This is what we wish to accomplish:
Releasing those bound unjustly,
Untying the throngs of the yoke;
Setting free the oppressed,
Breaking every yoke;
Sharing your bread with the hungry,
Sheltering the oppressed and the homeless;
Clothing the naked when you see them,
And not turning your back on your own. Isaiah 58:6-7
DO YOU KNOW THAT:
Thirty One (31) million people in the US are living in a state
of poverty and three (3) million of them are right here in TEXAS.
HAVE YOU HEARD THAT: 12 million children in the
US are buried under the weight hunger as they live
in household where people have to skip meals or
eat less to make both ends meet and 1.3 million
are in Texas.
